Melissa Klassman is one busy person

Posnack's Melissa Klassman is one busy person.

In a time when many high school athletes choose to specialize in one sport, Klassman has excelled in several. We're talking soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, socer, softball and tennis.

Her efforts have earned her a pretty big honor--she's Florida's female winner of the High School Heisman.

The High School Heisman, however, doesn't just focus on what athletes do on the field. Nominees are scrutinized for academics, as well as community and school involvement.

Klassman, a senior, is the second Posnack athlete since 2007 to be honored at the state level. That year, former soccer and cross country standout Solomon Braun was a national finalist.

Despite Klassman's busy schedule, she had a few minutes tonight to talk about her newest award and to answer our 10 questions.
