ORLANDO, Fla. - The UCF women’s soccer team is on the rise in the national rankings this week. The Knights moved up one spot from last week’s standing to No. 17 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire poll on Tuesday.
UCF, which has been ranked or receiving votes in every NSCAA poll since Dec. 6, 2011, is the only American Athletic Conference program recognized among the Top 25. The Knights (2-1) are ranked second – only to Georgetown – in the NSCAA’s Northeast Region Top 10 ahead of fellow league members UConn (No. 4); Cincinnati (No. 7), Temple (No. 8) and Tulsa (No. 9).
