ORLANDO, Fla. (UCFKnights.com) – The No. 9/16 UCF women’s soccer team is ready for another round of postseason play at the UCF Soccer Complex this weekend. The Knights (16-2-4) meet St. John’s (11-5-3) for the first time in history Saturday at 7 p.m.
The Knights, who secured an automatic bid to the tournament by winning the American Athletic Conference’s inaugural title, earned the No. 3 seed in their region and are one of 16 teams in the tournament to earn a national seed. UCF is making its 18th NCAA Championship appearance and seventh in a row.
The Knights are riding a school-record 18-match unbeaten streak heading into the NCAA Tournament and have not trailed an opponent in their last 658:24 minutes played.
