Week 13 – Game Notes NCAA Tournament First Round

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Coming off an ACC championship last weekend in Cary, N.C., Florida State now sets its sights on a second championship run which they hope will continue for the next four weeks ending back in Cary.

That quest for the school’s first national championship begins Friday, November 15 under the lights of the Seminole Soccer Complex as Florida State (18-1-3) plays host to South Alabama (14-5-3) at 7:00 p.m.

Florida State earned the ACC’s automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament after claiming its second league title in the last three years with a 1-0 victory over Virginia Tech in the conference championship game. South Alabama also earned an automatic bid after claiming the Sun Belt Conference Championship. The Jaguars are making their first ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
